This group delivers scientifically sound regulatory strategies, which provide our Amway Business Owners (ABO’s) confidence, that they are selling a superior product. On this team you will provide counsel to cross functional teams on ingredient acceptability, formulation design, product labeling, safety, claims, and registration requirements. Working with our global team, you will also monitor and interpret the impact of current, pending, and future regulations to ensure that Amway portfolio maintains compliance. How you would contribute to the role:
In this role, you will be a key team member of the Beauty Center of Excellence, located in Seoul, Korea, to lead the regulatory activities of product design, ensuring successful regulatory pathways for Amway products sold in over 80 countries and territories around the globe. By partnering with key stakeholders around the world, your ability to guide product development teams and bring regulatory compliant solutions for innovative product design challenges, will be of great value. You will lead concept, ingredient, formula, and finished product assessments, international label and claims development for new personal care and hair care products. This role involves executing regulatory strategies in a dynamic product development setting to enable product access across the globe. What skills and background will be important to be successful:
Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
Minimum four years scientific background (Regulatory, Science, Health, International Affairs or related degree) with use of analytical and scientific databases
Knowledge of personal care, hair care, skincare, electronic, devices regulations, communicating and interpreting regulatory challenges
Experience working through risk management scenarios as a part of cross-functional global project team
A solution-oriented mindset, providing strategic regulatory recommendations for improvements
Talent to communicate across cultures, with the ability to influence stakeholders
BS or above degree in Regulatory Science, or a related sciences discipline
