The Portfolio Strategist is responsible for evaluating portfolio management strategies to support AKL’s sustainable and profitable growth. This role provides strategic insights to relevant divisions, enhancing their understanding of AKL’s overall business. The goal is to identify new opportunities to achieve sales targets, attract new customers, maximize the value of existing ABOs, and retain the most profitable ones.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Data tracking, extraction and summary for internal reports reflecting AKL business status
– Collect and summarize key internal data and insights on current business trends
– Prepare portfolio strategy documents (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) for internal & global reporting purposes
2. Improve decision making efficiency for impactful Marketing Initiatives
– Conduct post-launch and promotion evaluations across various categories
– Provide meaningful insights to relevant divisions regarding community-based programs
– Suggest ideas for portfolio optimization
2. Manage AKL Portfolio Design
– Track KPI targets related to Marketing Growth Initiatives and ensure portfolio design aligns with these objectives
– Monitor promotion plans based on comprehensive review of portfolio and suggest product allocation /CI plans for major marketing solutions for growth initiatives
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Consulting)
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience
<Essential Qualifications>
– Advanced Proficiency in Excel
– Experience in solving complex problems using large datasets
– Strong human relations and interpersonal communications skills
– Strong oral and written communications skills
<Preferred Qualifications>
– Proficiency in SAS
– Advanced Proficiency in SQL
– Background in marketing/strategy or brand communications
– Ability to evaluate KPIs and overall business performance
